Cheers Dirtytoad Check under the back seat for the fuel sender see if it's still connected, and the same with the temp sender in the engine bay other then that I'm spent.. Quote
towe001 Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 The gauges wouldn't work if their not connected. And if they are then it'll mean that their drawing power from somewhere else. The temp sender could be stuffed. With the both of them doing it, it does sound like there's fault at the back of the gauge cluster.... Quote

When I replaced mine (temp sender) I flicked on the keys once done and it went straight to the roof, checked the bay and hadn't put the wire back on soon as I did this it went back to normal temp. As it was worm when I changed it. Quote

towe001 Posted April 24, 2008 Report Posted April 24, 2008 Just make sure it is a faulty cluster before you buy a "new" one and find out its really a wiring fault or something. cause to me with the fuel gauge still reading full sounds like a wiring fault. Quote
DirtyToad Posted April 26, 2008 Author Report Posted April 26, 2008 Ok Today I've gota check out the wiring , at least I know that my Fuel light still works! Which mean I don't have to keep record of how many K's Ive done on a tank of fuel. Hope to get it sorted soon. Cheers Dirty Toad Quote
