well currently I'm looking for a E7, for my first car, and i see a lot of cars that i like for great prices but the rust always puts me off. Can anyone supply a rough estimate on how much it would cost to respray and de-rust these cars? I'm on a tight budget :lol:

A botched up dodgy bog-in-rust respray will cost $1500 minimum, a decent job $5000+

I thought it would depend as well if you either get someone else to do it for you or whether you do it yourself.

 

 

Doing it yourself would be cheaper, though depending on how good you are will determine the finish.
