Ive removed everything attached to the cross member to try to get it out. But the bolts that are holding it in are no budging. Not even a little, is there any special way of undoing it?

not as far as I know. Last time I took out a cross member we just dropped the struts and all out. Undid the 4 bolts and it dropped out.

mabe use some sort of crc

somethings got to keep your crossmember in the front end :D
