All good, should have the brackets for the radiator & the holes cut for the piping finished by this weekend.

 

Iv been sick 8/ the last 2 weeks so i haven't really done much on the car.

Was ment to be getting painted this Sat but i don't think its going to happen due to lack of founds for the paint & labour.

 

Going to lend a 90% Degree Silicon Bend off my mate to use as a template to cut the holes for the mean time.

Painted the Intercooler Brackets yesterday, Come up really nice with this Paint I'm using.

Getting the Silicon Bend on the way home, Going to ring Super Cheap & Auto Barn to see if they have any in stock.

Its optional man, I haven't tried a Silicon 3" Join to 2.5" 90 degree bent yet! Here's the link for them Silicon Bends if it comes to it will get them just to keep the piping short from Cooler to Turbo. ("Turbo Hoses R&R") :wink:

 

Been slack, Got the Metal the make the radiator brackets.

 

Ill make sure i stop a Auto Barn on the way home and get one Silicon bend to do some testing with. If it doesn't fit we can just return it i guess. :D

 

Wet Sanded the whole engine on the weekend with Kra55 & Hay$. Got it Primer'd and ready for painting this weekend if every thing goes as planed. :)

Hey People!

 

Good news Silicon Bends have been ordered and should be here by Friday 17th or Monday 20th at the latest.

 

Went to a few performance shops after work yesterday, was going to cost $100 bucks for a set of 2. :wink:

 

Ended up finding these on eBay for $20 each plus $6.90 postage so all up worked out at $47 bucks. Good old eBay! :D

what's next on the list??

Still have to make radiator brackets yet but thats about it really engine bay wise.

 

Gets painted on November the 1st so 2 weeks then will sit the engine the week after.

 

Started hitting some of the rust in the boot, still bit more work to go yet.

I mounted my cooler the other way round ey. with 90deg bends fitted sweet

I had to cut the head light bracket's to fit the Intercooler this way.

 

Tight fit but the piping will be shorter from Turbo to Cooler.
