20v Low Idle

hi guys got a ae82 20v stock ecu starts fine but once it warms up wont idle and stalls till i turn it of and it cools down

also does anyone know how to do the tacho mod so it stops cuting out at 7200rpm thanks

Could be the idle control valve under the quads near the back of the head is clogged or a faulty coolant sensor. Try removing the idle control valve and cleaning it with carby clean first. See if that helps. You need a speed sensor to get the motor to rev out fully, changes the advance curve too, you can trick it with a 555 timer circuit or get a feed from your speedo under the dash, can't remember where I read the document how to do it, google should find it.
