Hello other side of the world that has all the parts i need :hmm: . i live in Austin, Tx, USA, and i wanted to know if any one can tell me what vehicle the hilux is in the united states. I think it might be a tacoma? any info would be greatly appreciated.

The Hilux name was adopted as a replacement for the Stout in 1969, and remains in use worldwide. In North America, the Hilux name was retired in 1976 in favor of Truck, Pickup Truck, or Compact Truck, until it was renamed the Tacoma in 1995.

What's the VIN prefix for the truck you need parts for? (Chassis code RNxxx, LNxxx etc) Usually makes the search a lot easier.

sorry i guess i wasnt as clear as i thought i am looking for a rear end swap with lsd for my 78 ke30. i plan on putting a ca18det in it and i want to know how hard its going to be to source a beefy rear end.
