Ke10 Hydraulic Clutch

Featured Replies

hi have justed fitted my ke10 with a tandem master cylinder and have a geniune toyota clucth master cylinder in its box still. is it possible to fit this to the car which is running a ke35 5spd running a k motor . My main concern is can a slave cylinder be fitted somewhere with out to many dramas. if anyone has done so pictures would be appreciated .

You'll need to work out the throw on the clutch fork and whether or not your slave has enough throw. If not, you will need to modify the fork to suit your throw length, and that will change your pedal pressure.

It's definitely possible though.

[sidenote: i'd love to see pics of the tandem master cylinder. did you have to butcher the firewall? what was the master out of? ]

as for hydraulic clutch, anything's possible, but whether it's worth while.

i didn't read the post so well..

ke motor and box require a cable clutch as the lever is a pull style one.

you'd have to mount the slave cylinder behind the lever to push forward. this would not be worthwhile.

better off finding a motor/box combo that requires hydraulic clutch pedal before deciding to upgrade to a hydraulic clutch.
