Is A 7afe A Drop Option To Replace A 4afe

if you had a car with a 4AFE in it and a half cut with a 7afe in it

 

 

is the 7 a drop in replacement for a 4 version??

 

I'm looking for gerneral terms like engine mounts, radiators etc

I realise there will have to be some parts swap over and fine fit

but in general terms is a 7AFE and a 4AFE foorprint he same

 

or is it only the series 2 4AFE and the 7AFE that have the same/similar footprint?

7AFE block is taller so exhaust won't bolt up unless you use the 7AFE system up to the cat. 7AFE and 4AFE share the same footprint. I made a 7AGE to replace a broken 4AGE and the 7AFE block bolted up to all the 4AGE stuff. I seem to remember I had to swap a drivers side engine mount.
