uze70 Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 hi, I'm shannon from christchurch, new zealand. i stumbeled across this site while researching possible engine conversions for my drift car, any ways its a 82 ae70 2 door, and my daily is a 83 ae86 GT apex the 86 is stock really, factory 4age t50 and disc T series rear, with 14X6.5 techno phantom wheels and 50mm lowering springs and a fiberglass front lip. the drift car is a bit more extreme currently its got a blue top 4age, link tuneable computer, k50 and locked E series 7.1" rear, D2 adjustables full 6 point cage, equal length 4 links, adjustable bottom arms etc here it is thate pretty much how it sits at the moment, iv brought another ae85, with 4age (run big end) W55, hilux diff, TRD suspension, X70 brakes all round etc. so the plan is to put the 4age, k50, adjustables out of the ae70 into the ae85 and the W55, TRD suspension and cressida braked into the 70 and sell the ae85 then ill have money to do a engine conversion as the 100 WHP 4age isnt grunty enough for competetive drifting I'm not sure what engine to throw in tho, either 1UZ, 4AGZE, beams 3SGE, 13bt, ca18 or sr20 not sure yet this is the fleet Quote
adam-__- Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 Wow, definitely a nice collection of cars you've got there. I think there's only 3 of those AE70 over here in Australia. And I've never seen a K50 behind a 4AGE either. I feel like moving to NZ sometimes. haha :yes: Quote
uze70 Posted February 8, 2009 Author Report Posted February 8, 2009 haha cheers man. i wouldnt say they are common over here but there is WAY more than 3 lol. and the K50 comes behind the 3AUs that the ae85 and ae70s get from the factory, they are ment to be shitbox but the one thats in the car now bloody loves it, it loves clutch kicks and shift locking :yes: Quote
