  1. I too have seen this car. Looks fairly clean from memory..
  2. http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp Use this calculator to compare current wheels offsetting to desired. Trial and error with different sizes until you get it sitting in your preferred position.
  3. I've got a MAP sensor which was taken from a big port and has part number, '89421-12030'. Edit:
  4. Welded diffs are annoying to begin with, but once you get used to driving with it, you learn 'how to drive' with it. You also need to find the right tyres for you as well. Some tyres chirp and hop more than others. Just get quality front runners and you'll be fine most of the time with a locker. Whining depends on how/who welded the diff I've noticed from experience.
  5. Very clean AE71 mate and I love the R32, I wanna see more pics. :hmm:
  6. The things you see in the above picture should secure the injectors between the head and rail tightly. Mine just turn/twist, they don't move up and down or anything like that. Edit: You should also have some 'spacer' things in between your rail.
  7. I believe mostly Japanese imports, but like Stu has mentioned there has always been a Corolla out front.
  8. I haven't had any personal experiences getting my car tuned at Status Tuning in Dandenong, but I haven't heard a single bad thing about them. I've gone in to talk to them about getting a few things done and they were really helpful.
  9. Hey Dan and welcome to the forums. If the car is all straight or close to it, I'd personally do a full service before anything. Just the normal motor oil change with filter, flush of coolant along with the change of thermostat, gearbox oil if you're up for it and might as well do the diff oil. As for modifications to the car, I went with modifying my suspension first to give it a nicer, lower look. It needed a change of shocks anyway so thought why not.. It really depends what you intend on using this car for though. If you're just after a nice daily rider, a nice set of speakers and head unit would be up in the list of modifications whereas if you wanted to hit the track, you'd maybe go suspension first. Getting power out of an NA car will be tough without money. Have you considered a 4AGE conversion or do you just want to keep the standard 4K-C motor? Enjoy your stay. There's plenty of information around on this site. Cheers
  10. :P Comparing to my meshies they're a little shit, but in general, they're an awesome set of wheels. Cheap with decent widths and offset. Yep, my exams didn't go too bad! Thought I did a little worse than the marks show, but I passed so I'll take it. :) You start uni again fairly early.. :bash: Not to rub it in or anything, but I don't head back until the 10th of August. hahaha! If I damage these wheels again... :no2: I will give up cars altogether and get into stamp collecting. And here's a few snaps of the car with meshies on again. Sorry for the blurry pics. That's all I ever do in this thread now. Take photos of parked cars...
  11. Bahaha yeah, I'm thinking that at the moment. Alright, meshies are going back on tomorrow.
  12. There's a mix in there. Pair of SSR Formula mesh, pair of Hoshino Mesh and a pair of SSR Reverse mesh. Yeah, you know him? I'm considering selling up these MAs... It's either get some better tyres up front or sell these off. Currently no cash for the first option so I'm considering the second. hahaha. Either that or just suck up the shitty understeery things they are.
  13. Oh I forgot to post these pictures below up. They're on the first page, but I should post them here too. They were taken before we left for Winton's practice day a few weeks back. That's my mates T18 we've been working on the last few months. And here is a photo of one of my walls in my bedroom. Cheers
  14. I took a few snaps of my new MA61s which was purchased a few nights back. The tyres on them are all random, but they have decent tread.. The front wheels are a little 'monster truck' like and the wheels look a little gay under my flared guards, but oh well. I should stop receiving those, 'why are your wheels protruding from the guards?' questions from the boys in blue. It must've been a rhetorical question every single time cause when I tried explaining offset to them, they gave me a 'wtf?' look and changed topics.
  15. AE86 pedal box won't fit/work in an E7 chassis unless you modify it. T18 pedal boxes are a closer fit only needing a few holes drilled in/bolts moved. My 4AGE into KE70 conversion set me back $3k, that was everything needed to go 4K to 4AGE. A few bits and pieces I could have bought a little cheaper, but I needed my car on the road asap. Edit: All work was done by myself.
