  1. theyre an absolute prick to find the right size, bet best is getting the plastic ones and grinfing them down to fit search google, couple comapnies ship out to aus
  2. thats probably the reaction he is going for :D try it mate, price up some things and go for it if its financially able. people convert mini's to rwd by both putting a civic motor in the rear and using the fwd drivetrain in an mr2-LIKE setup my personal favourite:
  3. id imagine that epoxy would not be good due to the high amount of vibration
  4. omg, this thread has made my blood pressure rise a little. diff is very last thing id be worried about unless you have one you can get HELL cheap
  5. OPTION 1: 6mm lines for feed and return bosch 044 (VL Turbo) fuel pump standard ryco efi fuel filter in engine bay and an inline one before the pump DO NOT expect it to supply fuel when running under 1/4 of a tank OPTION 2: 6mm feed and return lines lift pump into the swirl pot with filter before the pump then a bosch 044 to a filter then to your engine 2nd option is harder but 100 times better as it wont cut out under heavy right hand corners
  6. 15w40 for a rebuilt 5k shud be fine, 20w50 is really only for when your rings and seals start to get a little tired, or in the case of my boat, penrite70 for when your motor is completely shagged i would say your pump is either in brand new condition or its been shimmed
  7. blown again :jamie: i have put it up for sale as i don't have the funds to get another motor that is rebuilt/rebuild this one going to buy a hilux or a WRX to replace it, then when i have steady income and all I'm gonna buy another and do it up the way i wanted to
  8. i started a similar thread like this with what i believe is the exact same rims from japanesenostalgic or something http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=30084 there is bulk wheels on that website
  9. i had similiar problem, check you have the injectors wired up correctly, ie. resistors etc
  10. kiahn

    Spotted!

ive just seen a ke55 on that 70's show had a guy pull over the other day in a ke70 panelvan and ask if i need assistance, was top bloke and called me "on the ball" :) when i drove off he had an amazed face that a ke70 could go that fast :( haha
  11. well it depends how long your engine needs to last and how old it is rebuild it and get it all balanced and it will rev out to 8 grand easy from what ive heard stock, you should stop at about 7000 max
  12. i have a late model k40 and it seems to be the same as my ae71 t50 shifter i have a t18 T50 and my late model K40 shifter doesnt look like it would sit quite right
  13. that was pretty awesome, was my first time laying lines that 20 was was the most mixed up car, ke70 parts, ke30 number plate, ke20 chassis looked great tho
  14. what is the KNOWN condition of the turbo?? run an oil cooler if its getting too hot, or get a larger radiator/thermofan btw what engine are you running and how demanding are you of the engine??
  15. alright everything is fixed now, had a problem with the torque of the head gasket, new ACL gasket in and just finished my run in time so time to re-torque runs like a dream now, only problem is the ECU keeps tripping out and doing something funny, will put JDM ECU in this arvo after retorquing it and see it if helps
