ok so i got some rims for my rolla they are 14x7 4x114.3 i tried to fit em 2day and found out my wheel studs arnt long enough

is there any way i can get these to fit??

have you got mag wheel nuts?? or just the standard steel rim nuts??

Get longer wheel studs if you already have mag wheel nuts.

ok thanks dude, yeah i was only trying the steel rim nuts, the studs don't quite come out of the rim if u kno what i mean

his right (toyota_ae71)or go to your local tire shop and get it check out!

but surely if the stud doesnt reach all the way through, the rim mag wheel nuts wont work either

why won't the mag wheel nuts work?? is the sleeve too big or too small?? can get them from autobahn for like 2.50 each.

na mate i havnt tried mag nuts yet, but surly if the stud doesnt even reach right through the rim theres no thread for it to grab on 2.

or do mag wheel nuts reach in the sleeve more soz to be a pain man

yeah mate, they have a sleeve on the end of the nut so it actually goes inside the hole of your rim.

i have heard of someone using hilux bolts before because they were longer, i think i read that on Toymods so maybe go on toymods and do a search to see what comes up.

Shank or Lug nuts they called..

 

the sleeve bit of the nut should be the same thickness of the hub of rim or slightly smaller. if its longer the nuts will get tight, but the wheel will be wobbly..
