d.g.c. Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 Hello all. Wondering if anyone can help me with some info. I have an ae92 corolla which "shudders" but only when in reverse. It's more noticable when the clutch is being released. There's no vibration at all in any forward gears so i'm guessing it's not the the clutch that's buggered. Any info would be appreciated. Cheers. seabiscuit Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Same thing happens to me in my KE70 as of recent. It tends to only be within a small amount of "space" on the friction surface where it will start to shudder (clutch half in). My solution/s (without fixing it) is to make the clutch slip a little more until you have enough speed to let it out, let the clutch fully out quicker than usual or give it a few more revs. If you are concerned I would probably get it checked out, though.
