hey guys

only 17 and don't know alot bout my ke20

how can u tell what kind motor they are eg. 2k,3k,5k....

theres a flat section on the distributor side of the block. pretty my at the rear of the engine.

 

Most likely you'll have a 3k, or if someones already done a swap it will probably be a 4k.

 

3K engine number = 3K XXX XXX

 

4K engine number = 4K XXX XXX

 

What ever the first number and letter will tell you the engine type. pretty much the same with all toyota engines, but not all.

ive got a 4k in it than and i got a spare 4k in shed for rebuilding :P:)
