Tally
ok guys my secondary in my carb hasnt been working last few months... I have taken off most of the vacuum lines going into the carbie, except the dizzy and canister lines and blocked off the rest... now KE70 4K-C carbys seem to all have vacuum operated secondarys, while the earlier cars had mechanical secondarys. I picked up a KE55 carb which has mechanical secondarys, and looked at the linkages and they are very different to KE70 ones... is it possible to pull out the secondary throttle shafts??? reason is KE70 throttle bodies have bigger secondarys and I just rebuilt my carb so I'm kinda stuck and am losing a heap of power... If anyone has any experience with this please help. Cheers Tally Edited June 6, 2009 by Tally
Smithius
Yeah block of all the other crap, its a waste of time. Just soak the carby in kerosene, and give it a scrub with a tooth brush. But carby cleaner is the best
