Dunno if this is correct section.....ahhh!

 

Quick question, to get rid of pinstripe on my kesev, ive heard you can heat it up with a blow dryer and peel it off with a plastic spatula....anyone done this or are there any other methods??

 

Also, the black plastic strip down the side of my car bout half way down the door, anyone taken that off, I'm afraid if i do it will look dodgy and ruin overall appearance due to a rough job in taking it off or different paint colour.

hey mate

 

i've found on all my ketos that those rubber trim pieces are stuck on with double sided tape from factory. you could try heating and scraping but it might ruin the paint under the strip, depending on how well its been looked after you might pull a bit of the paint off, also the paint around the trim will probably be lighter due to fade. this'll be the case with the pin striping too. i've done it on mine, but its getting a full respray :)
