hey guys, looking at redoing the trim on the rolla (thinking black suede)... problem is i can't get the trim off, its stuck window winder

 

service manual says to use Toyota special rip off tool or alternative use a strong bit of cloth with a "see-saw" action.

 

problem is i can't do it, and have no idea what I'm doing wrong

Your right, its been done time and time again. Yes there is a special tool you can use but I find you can use a screw driver or even an Allan key.

Okay I couldn't find any pics on my pc of a door trim do here is this...

 

Stick the Allan Key behind the winder against the clip and wind the window. The clip will turn with the winder but since the Allen key is there it will be forced to come off.
