Guys i can't get around to the house to organise anything. The address is (REMOVED). Added info it has had the breaks rebuilt (professionally) about 500km ago and has a new (ish) dizzy. Gearbox leaves a little to be desired but all other mechanics are fine and was serviced about 1000km ago (major with all the filters and that crap). Its a slant front and has some fully sick zebra print seat covers… all i ask is you take the whole thing... chop it at your place if you want but i need it gone

Hey guys, i know this is the wrong forum but need this to get seen by as many people as possible as it my granddads car and he hill be devo if i have to get it destroyed. I'm giving away the KE70 (cs i think) its a granny spek with a few patches of rust and one side had a wall scrape. was running 3 months ago but now needs a new battery (can be jumped) its not registered if i can't get rid of her in 3 weeks its gonna get crushed. really don't want to see that happen but i just can't keep her any more. its free and i have a mate that a tow truck driver so ill even see if he can do you a deal if you want it towed

nah i think i can do better than that bunch could ever do ;) hehe not really and Ken is right, if you got the $ to do it then do it in a shop. i am just yet to see a good product for a reasonable price... however i would love to be proved wrong!

i dunno about ke30 but SSS auto parts sell ke70 stuff and other old car parts....... they are reproductions and so are a but more expensive than getting from a wrecker but they are good quality (so far, only had taillights from them for about 2 weeks)

personally i think all the places are over priced... if you want a really pro look just take your time and do it your self. just don't rush it and do as much research as you can first.

hmmm never worked on one (but i doubt its any real dif to the 82 ke70)... whats the issue?

i know some of the guys will disagree... but... what i am doing is starting at the rear of the car and as i do body work i am also rewiring. sorta. I'm recycling as much as i can and running new wire, major components that i don't have the time (or know how) to do i am just leaving and if i feel like i need to ill come back to them latter. but like dave says its a LOT of effort for no real gain unless you have major issues. as a side note google car wiring, there is a HEAP of info out there. most of it is for hotrods but the principal is the same

well the cost of repair will be different depending on condition of car. just drive it in and he will give you a rough quote. i have 2 holes behind rear wheel arch, some damage the the "gutter" or whatever you want to call it and the boot lip (chassis side not lid) was a bit ugly.

awesome place in Armadale. he was going to redo my ke70 to 100% (well as close as you can get) for about 3k. mostly works on rods but is happy to do anything. from memory its called "aj's" but i can't really remember. ill have a drive past tomorrow if i get a chance

yeah ill grab one tomorrow ill be fixing up the body as of next week, just a few rust spots and 3 holes... i might be able to get a chaeapish body kit of a levin ill see if i can make that fit, only problem is its a slant front and every one i know recons they ugly as interior i have been doing for a few weeks already, just black, roof will be suead was going to do a molded armrest on the doors out of fiberglass then cover in vinyl.... all that while hunting for parts like i said, not sure if it will be done for 2011
