Hi Everyone!

 

My friend owns a Daihatsu Rocky with the Toyota 3Y motor and a couple of days ago it was driven through a puddle just under a metre deep

(would have only been touching sump area, though) and ever since it has lost all of it's torque and pulling power. It will rev up fine, although

backfires a little bit when it's decelerating. Any suggestions as to what could be causing this? My friend claims to have cleaned under and

around the dizzy cap!
