bmxsexmonkey Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 hey all recently i have purchased a ke10 with an aftermarked immob. and it drove fine for a few days then i stopped driving it for a week and it started again fine, i have since let it sit for 2-3 weeks and when i go to start it i turn the key and all the dash comes up but when i hit the button no crank or any attempt at it turning over. now when i hit the button that should allow me to start it the indicators come on like normal and it seems okay but when i hit the button again it goes spastic and sounds munted (which it never did before) i need to know if i remove the immobaliser is it as simple as tracing and removing the wires from the unit? and is there any other things that could contribute to this problem? any help appreciated jason Quote
KEI069 Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 (edited) Hey man i reckon it might just be your battery is down a little in charge, so enough in it to turn dash lights on but not enough for the starter to crank. Oh, and to remove the immobliser it should just be a matter of tracing the wires except for the main ignition wire which has probably been cut in half to run through the black box, it will need to be re-joined Edited September 22, 2009 by KEI069 Quote
Taz_Rx Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 X2 definately re-charge your battery and then come back to us if its still a problem. Having an immobiliser these days is a must, so don't remove it. :P Quote
