bout to take head off 4kc .got head gasket but down one side of the head i can see 7 bolt (bove manifolds) are two of these bolts that you don't have to take off as my new head gasket shows five each side. just wanna check before i do anything, thanks guys

yeah there should be two bolts that are close to each other, that don't need to come out. they should look slightly different two the rest of the bolts. I think from memory there should be two head bolts either side and one in between the bolts you don't have two take out. hopefully that isn't to confusing

 

If i get a chance i'll take a pic of the head i just pulled of my 4k.
