wannarolla Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 Hi all. Taking my kesev through regency soon but i need to change the suspension bushes first. Just want to know if i can pass with Urethane or Nolathane bushes or do i have to maintain the original rubber ones from toyota? Thanks. Quote
philbey Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 I don't think you'll have any issues with urethane bushes, they're just a heavy duty bushing material with better wear, and they're somewhat stiffer. Quote
wannarolla Posted February 22, 2010 Author Report Posted February 22, 2010 Its just everyone is telling me any performance upgrade is another defect so would regency see the stiffer bushes on a ke70 corolla as a P plater making his car driftable? Cheers Quote
Evan G Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 no it will be fine just don't rock up on bump stops and a locked diff! Quote
SLO-030 Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 Urethane is a harder compound. Therefore it should take out a bit of slop in any moving joint SO in theory, it should be looked upon as a safety enhancment. Just like bigger brakes, they wouldnt look at you and defect you for them because you must need big brakes for the super high speeds you "COULD" do in school zones. Quote
