March 19, 201016 yr comment_422905 Alec here again with the Ke70 (4k) with a stock diff. I've got some gearbox oil here that says i can put it in my diff? might be a silly question but can i do that? also do i have to take the back plate off the diff to drain the oil? and if so do i need another gasket or something to replace it with? cheers guys Alec Report
March 19, 201016 yr comment_422907 Yeah you'll have to take it off and you'll probably need to replace the gasket which probably is a good idea anyway. Though I've just loosened the bolts and pried the bottom open a bit and drained it that way. 80w/90 is the diff oil recomended in the manual. EDIT: I say it to everyone, a gregorys manual is worth its weight in Rolla's. Edited March 19, 201016 yr by blzbub666 Report
