lux_tv
Hi guys, I had a small bingle this afternoon in my AE92 (broken front driver's light and front grill pushed in) and now my bonnet won't open. It looks like the bonnet may be pushed toward the back of the car a bit and the bonnet cable seems broken (won't release the bonnet at all) Is there any way that I can open the bonnet so I can start to fix everything? drc_ke20
look at the latch mechanism and picture how the latch works first, and then if the grill is already damage, remove completely.use a flat blade screw driver and just pry the latch of the hood part and it should pop open. Rolla Boy
Also if you have someone else, get one to lift the bonnet release inside the car while the other is trying to lift the bonnet up... Usually gets it :)
