I'm trying to keep the car kinda stock for the years to come but would love to make the engine a little bit more "better" lol iv read the info about doing up k engines on this site. altezzaclub Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 If you haven't fitted the pistons, get it all balanced first. Have a few kg machined off the flywheel even before you get it balanced, so it will rev faster and smoother. Get a cam cut, not too hot if you're going to stick to a stock carb, and put on a set of extractors with a larger diameter but quiet exhaust system. Can't go wrong! If you want more, then either the Weber downdraught or a pair of SUs will add the last bit. Oohh shiny! would be an electronic dizzy and an electric fan, nice, but not necessary. Quote
