Head Help

hi guys I'm new here i own a 78 ke30 corolla it has a set of extractors into a 1 1/2 inch exhaust system under it with an air pod which is fed by nice cold air

 

 

ok heres my problem i have a high compression head off a 4k and I'm putting it on my 3k cause the 4 k done an oil ring and i just did up the 3k I'm not using the scolloped pistons I'm using the 3k flat tops i know the compression ratio will be high but will i damage the engine at all i havent started the engine yet has any one ever done this before :thumbsup:

don't you think putting a larger head on a smaller black will make the compression lower and just run like a dirty little piggy????

 

Normally you would put a 3k head on a 4k block or even a 5k (dirty word)

good point i never thought aboiut that i still have the standard head so i will see how it goes i turns over ok by hand but u have to use a socket set to do it

over here our 3k and 4k's had flat tops

my shaved 3k head made WAYYYYYYY too much compression, like 230 psi each
