So I have a ke20, I will be changing to the 114.4 stud pattern.

 

I have acquired ke 30 axles which i will cut down and fit with ke55 drums etc.

 

I have access to an RA40 and a ke55 rear end, one of which i would like to fit after i blow up the original.

 

Is the ke55 borg warner tougher than the ke20?

 

Is the RA40 tougher than the ke55?

 

Is it worth the TEM time/effort/money to cut down the RA40 diff to fit or should i look for something else if and when original dies?

 

I need to know asap, as both vehicles are going to be crushed very soon.

 

I have done hours of research and cannot find these answers. Do i suck at searching or something?

A t-series diff from the Celica will be stronger than the KE20 one.. and I am guessing stronger than the BW too.

 

Also opens up options for fitting a LSD if you wish.
