Ke30 Engine Transplant Querry

Hi all,

 

Picked up a KE30 4dr a while ago and am in the process of creating a sleeper. Mid way thru body work etc but now attention has turned to the engine. Has anyone seen or heard of anyone putting a CA18DET in it. And would you be able to use the CA18DET gearbox? I realise alot would have to be custom as far as mounts driveline etc. Just throwing it out there. If anyone could point me in a dirrection it would be greatly appreciated.

You can put any engine in any car of course, depends how you want to go about it mate

 

if you want to do it yourself, the stock CA engine mounts and gearbox 'can' mount up to the body

 

otherwise Ford 250 Crossflow mounts and mild steel plates to align the engine where you need it to sit

 

otherwise get a shop to put it in, your location helps also
