thecameronator Posted November 6, 2010 Report Posted November 6, 2010 Hey everyone, I own a 1993 AE94 corolla csi limited and I have recently aquired a dint in the rear bumper (a real shame on such a clean car), so my question is this. If I attain another plastic rear bumper from the wreckers but I am unable to get one in the colour of my car (red, see my gallery pics) what would be the best way to spray that bumper so that it doesn't look out of place? ae824ate Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 With plastic bumpers you will need a plastic primer. If you go to a good paint store and give them the paint code they should be able to mix up the same colour, but might look out of place a bit if your other paint is a bit faded. Not easy to get it looking like the original one. Oh, and before you paint, make sure there is no paint/crap on the bumper at all! Cheers. Quote

Thanks mate, Even if it doesn't look that great I can always put the original back on, I'll keep your advice in mind and let you know how it goes. Quote
