Hi all,

Just picked up a ke36 panel van and I am wanting to give her a full service. This is my first rolla and have only previously had silvia's.

I picked up a Gregory's manual to help in the future for tinkering but I wanted to know what oils and fluids are recommended by all here on the forums.

I'm sorry if this has been covered before but I wanted to get some info from all the rolla enthusiasts! :)

brake fluid. dot 4

atf - dextron 3

manual gearbox oil - castrol ep80w

diff oil - manual says ep80w but seams VERY thin for diff oil so use castrol EPX90

steering box - ep80w

engine oil - 20w50 for a std engine. 20w70 for a VERY tired smokey engine. and 20w40 for a freshy rebuilt

i think thats it?

A little bit on start up.

I usually put in whatever is on special (castrol) as my engine in fast approaching 680,000k's and it prob doesn't matter.

EDIT: sorry for the hijack Hingwaah, easier for whoever needs this info instead of starting new threads.

It seems like a pretty healthy motor, nonsmoker. So 20-50W it shall be, no real point in going semi or full synthetic?

Any recommendation on brand for engine oil? Used to use Anglomoil roadmaster in the Silvia, was perfect but it was 10-40w full syn.
