Wilsm Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 (edited) Hey guys, My names Wil, new to this forum, but i am on a few others like jdmst. This is my second car, a 93csi limited corolla, bulk stock and perfect condition when i got it. Its pretty fun to drive, but does lack a fair bit of power as its got a 4AFE lol. I've lightly modified it to suit my personal preference so if you don't like what of done thats understandable. I want to keep it to a clean, simple look. So i have done these things: -Lowered 2.5" (Reset springs) -SX Spoiler, black -2o% tints (Groundzero) -Custom Hurricane exhaust w/ 3" dumped tip (no current pics of tip) -16" rims -Clarion head deck -No name Sub -Cadence Monoblock -K&N Apollo filter -New Gear stick, gear boot -Removed Mud guards, weather shields, Csi decals I am searching for a clean front lip, but no luck yet.. Pics: Few days after i got it (with exhaust) Lowered (car is lower now due to spring sag) Tint Spoiler Most current Edited December 9, 2010 by Wilsm Quote
ae824ate Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 Looks nice mate. Are you looking for just a front lip, or a whole front bar? There are a few companies around that do kits for AE9X's. I'm not a huge fan of the jetspeed kit though. Keep us posted, nice work. Quote
Wilsm Posted December 9, 2010 Author Report Posted December 9, 2010 Cheers mate, I just want the lip, something simple to 'balance' the spoiler something like this: http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m169/consla808/Picture001-8.jpg Quote
thecameronator Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 Nice Ride mate, I also have a 1993 csi limited, mine is fairly un-modded though, infact it is quite original, only thing I have done is coloured the grill. Loved the photos and will eagerly be awaiting future mods :) Quote
Wilsm Posted December 10, 2010 Author Report Posted December 10, 2010 Cheers mate, its a good car for a daily, nice smooth ride, pretty comfy too! i forgot to add mine has only done 50,XXXkms Granny Spec! haha Quote
ae824ate Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 I think for just a lip, you are going to have to do alot of looking around, and most likely source one from overseas. Not easy to find in aus, unless you modify another model to fit. If you are good with fibreglass it wont be hard, ive done it before. Quote
Wilsm Posted December 11, 2010 Author Report Posted December 11, 2010 yeah they are bloody hard to find around here, and ive never worked with fibreglass before so i dunno about that haha Quote
