Need Help

hey people, trying to get my car running right, have a problem with my vacuum advance on the dizzy, ive got a 2tg with twin 40mm solex carbys,

where can i find a vacuum for the dizzy? ive got a vacuum line on one of the carbys buts its not giving vacuum

and i need to check my auxiliary venturi on the carbys, I'm not the best on carbys but there underneth the carbys yeah?.....lol

I'm not up with Solexs, but I assume the vac line that doesn't give vacuum is a ported line. It opens right under the throttle plate so its covered at idle and gives no vacuum, but as soon as you touch the throttle it sucks.

 

Google ported and manifold vacuum for the difference.

 

If not, maybe its blocked or not meant to give vacuum for the dizzy.

 

Venturis I don't kow, I'm afraid I used Webers.

yeah ive read the post last nite didnt really gimmie any info jus about the carbys comin lose lol... Were ive got the vacuum line connected to the carbys but only goves pressure no vacuum its not sucking

Got a photo of where it is?? I didn't think anything on the inlet side would be under pressure.

were the tube is for the vacuum is after the butterflys on the carbys both sides have the tubes
