i found a 2tc with 4speed transmision will the bell housing needa to be change to a 3tc or they are theSame?

Thanks for the info yeah i have a gts trans but i don't have the bell housing so i just want to make sure the t40 have thesame bolt patern for my 3tc before buying the t40 trans
