bit of an ameature moment but i just don't no the corollas like i no the old holdens,

so the question is will a later model ke55 (the ones with the square headlights just before they fully changed body shape) bonnet fit my 79 mod ke55 with round headlights, is there no panel difference?

sorry i only just realised that this should have gone in tech discussion

Yes later ke55 bonnet will fit onto a 79 early ke55. All exterior panels from ke3x-ke5x series corolla's are interchangeable except doors. wagon rear doors don't fit sedans and vise versa, front doors on 4 door models are the same though, unsure if 2dr sedan, 2dr coupe and pano doors are interchangeable though; could someone confirm or deny this?

One thing to remember is that the KE3x didn't have side intrusion bars, yet the KE5xs (or at least some of them) did.
