ae95- wagon kid Posted May 17, 2011 Report Posted May 17, 2011 Hey everybody does anybody have any experience with fibreglassing. specificatly with custom speaker boxes. what i bascically want to do is use fibreglass matting to make subwoofer pods that protrude on an angle. (slightly inwards) similar the the picture's below. but it will also contain two 6x5's, 6x9's or similar and will have an amp, i have repaired bodykits etc with fibreglass but have never made a custom box. is there a particular type of fibreglass, or just use the type you can pick up at the boat builders. what methods do you use preperation application sanding etc its it structuraly strong enough to handle the power of the subwoofers etc does anybody have some contacts that do this kind of work or have any advice. Thanks in advance Harry Quote
