  1. its loaded full of rust, reciev3d a quick wire wheel and rust converter and then fiberglassing.. unfortunately its had dodgey repairs done a few times now so its just not worth restoring properly.. the body got rubbed back with 180g, then all repairs done, hi fill primed the repairs and sealed off the whole car with sealer, then a couple coats of hi fill primer. then 2 coats of 2k solid white, followed by a coat of clear with green holographic flake added, then 4 more coats of clear so that the flake wasnt protruding pics don't really do the flake justice, but it turns heads in the sunlight driving past to say the least haha. the wheels might not be everyones cup of tea but i love them, would love a set of ssr mesh in 15x8 but just don't have the funds
  2. picked this up a few weeks ago, just put fresh rego on it nd am currently in the process of prepping for an in your face paint job.. picking up rims for it this weekend too.
  3. well.. i built this up, put all my running gear into it, added a few goodies, haltech dash nice interior etc.. then woke up one day and put it up for sale.. just had enough of it.. sold it for a good price and then paid some bills and bought my self an r32
  4. so for anyone wondering what happened to this
  5. finally got to a computer to upload some decent pics, this all happened in the period of 8 weeks after work and on weekends working by my self as of today i have 2 weeks to get intercooler fuel system and various other fiddly shit done ill let the pics do the talking

  11. panno doors are 1198, I'm curious as to what windows they used.. are the lexan or glass? p.s i love how far its being mounted back, should handle crazy good.
  12. yeah thats the go mate :) keen to see this finished.. by the way would you be able to measure the doors I'm curious as to how long they are
  13. shit mate i wouldnt worry about lightening them, by the looks of that it has no intrusion bar?! light is good but youve gotta consider safety first.. if you get T boned on the track some how youre gunna be in a lot of pain the next day lol
  14. so ive paid entry for a local motorkhana event at cootamundra airport on the 6th of december, still need to plumb the handbrake and also purchase an electronic boost controller (thinking of just using a boost T for now) but I'm hell keen to get some experience driving the ute and getting used to the entirely different drift setup as opposed to what I'm normally used to driving lol.. here is a pic of the layout, its very drift orientated so I'm gunna need some spare tires lol
  15. would have just used panel van doors, i was contemplating chopping my daily into a two door after i get rego as a mate had a rusty pair, but need to stop chopping things lol. also with the door jams you should just make up a section of sheet metal to cover up the rear hinges, thats what I'm eventually going to do with my ute
  16. I'm honestly not even sure of throat size, haven't recieved them yet, i think they're 40mm? Mikuni's off an fj1200 so will need a bit of primary and main jet work.. they have been rebuilt by the same bloke who rebuilds them for aussie racing cars, it has been done before so i know it will work! yeah only conversion part i need to buy now is a pedal box but considering making my own as i did on the drift ute
  17. good stuff, beams look so good in ke engine bays haha
  18. ditched the webber idea and purchased these bad boys, obviously wont be able to put them on until after rego.
  19. Painted the door jams and the car is now at work.. Pumped front and rear flares, shaved ariel and blinkers
