  1. Was originally going to do this in a ke20. I have a 3vzfe at home mounted to a 3vz bell housing which bolts up perfectly. Its out of a hilux v6. I think they use r150 manual boxes and should mount up too. Only problem is 3vzfe mounts starter on housing. But I'm sure with a bit of grinding and spacing you could mount one up. I know its been done before by someone on toymods. Also one of the Zoom magazine guys had a 3.5 Camry v6 in a 86 sprinter. Hope that helps a bit.
  2. Thanks guys. Give it a few weeks and I'll post up the finished painted product.
  3. Outing her back together for final paint.
  4. Can someone tell me if 4agze's came with an auto. If so what box is it. Thanks
  5. Struts now cut and lowered inserts fitted. Ready for paint.
  6. original disc and hub on the left. The one on the right is the same hub and disc turned down to locate alluminium hub face with 5 stud ford pattern. This has allowed the wheel to be relocated about an inch inboard.
  7. rt132 struts. cutting them down about 3 inches and using ae92 inserts. Then welding on some coil-overs. Should sit low like the rear. To bring the wheel track in, I'll cut the lower control arms and make them adjustable. I hate the frog look some cars have.
  8. Just welding on spreader bar with wheelie bar mounts. I want to get the car on the ground soon, so I'm finishing off everything on the under side.
  9. G,day Mat. It depends how far you want to take it. In my own case I thought originally of just making a good little street car to have some fun in. But as it progressed I decided to go bigger and better. Problem with that is, I've done double the mucking around turning a street build into a full on build. So decide where its gonna end up before you get out tge angle grinder.
  10. Rear bar work done. Need to get more pipe.
  11. Tubs are done. Roll cage next.
  12. re-did rear clip. way less flex now
