it already has an adjustable panhard, trd shocks in the rear, ae86 struts, strut brace etc .. plans are to not have a single piece of the suspension setup left standard.. will keep pics updated as it comes along.

was going to post this somewhere else but wasn't sure where lol.. hopefully i get some reply's..

i was just wondering what is the go with track days? is there any drift events that i can go to in nsw that don't require the car to be registered ? and also do i have to be licensed to enter the event ? or am i just dreaming here ?

only reason i'm not registering this car is it's going to cost me thousands to get it on the road, engineers cert, blue slip, any repairs that might need doing, and also i won't have a licence for another year :fuzz:

and here is a pic of sway for the sake of it .. the ke55 in the back ground is still for sale, just needs paint and body work done, no major rust..

ahk thanks guys i hope i can get a track licence without having a drivers licence .. it's stupid imo, i think they should make track days/drift days a place where anyone can go (with an age limit of course) and go silly instead of them doing it on the street.

new brake booster in.

post-7096-0-14497700-1318062117_thumb.jpg

when i bought the car i was told that the brakes just needed bleeding, looked at the filler and it was empty, poured some in and it rub straight out the bottom, also ordered a new steering wheel, one of those deep dish suede wheels with the yellow centre mark..

been cleaning up heaps of wiring on the car cause its not the best.

also priced up the suspension set up i'm going for at around $1800, which includes;

FRONT

T3 Adjustable Lower Control Arms (it says 'for ae86' will these fit an ae71 with 86 struts?)

T3 Outer Tie Rods

A J P S RCA's

Tension Control Rods

Adjustable Whiteline Swaybar - Already have lying around.

A J P S 7kg Springs

T3 Camber Tops

REAR

Custom MIG Differential Centre ;) - Sitting in the backyard

T3 Adjustable 4 Link Kit - Already have a pair of adjustable lowers but i want to get a full set of these as they also have Heim joints.

T3 Traction Brackets (thinking about just making a set for $10 at work)

A J P S Adjustable panhard (Also have one of these but want them for the Spherical joints)

A J P S 5kg Springs

Whiteline swaybar

started strippin the rear half of the rolla tonight.. i figure if its going to be a track car than why have all that extra weight ?

found a pretty nice suprise when i lifted the carpet, someone else has already stripped all the sound deadening off and painted the floor flat black, saves me doing it :y:

sorry about the crappy photos i only had an ipod handy
