well had a crack at doing the rear flares today .. really really not happy with the way i did it but oh well :glare: gotta learn some how.

i guess it doesnt look that bad.. just have to shape the original body to suit the flares..

a mate come around for a chat just before and told me that his cousin is selling a straight rust free ke70 that isnt running for 100 bucks.. sorta pissed me off a bit lol .. cause i wanna go flat front and in that case i didn't need to hack these purple guards up to do the job, i coulda just used my front guards and fitted the ke70 front end :bash:

oh well always the way..

it looks so stupid at the moment cause its got these massive flares and little 13x6's or what ever the standard csx size is.. can't wait to get some decent fitment under them, i'm going 15x8 but i'm not sure on what offset to get :hmm:

haha yea i had ray burn last week from not wearin a mask.. that shit STINGS !! worst part is it doesnt even tan afterwards lol .. just burns for a few days and peels off for a week.

haha .. must of just been one of the unlucky ones :rolls:

... You realise I was being 100% sarcastic? hehe.

Toyota thought it was a great idea to put some foam crap in the arches - it gets wet and rusts it out.

Almost all KE70s have rust in the rear arches.

They're also prone to boot, around the fuel filler/cap and sometimes in the firewall.

Ahhh, rust.

hahaha .. i was thinking -10 .. i sorta understand the offset thing but havent had much experience buying different wheels based on offset.. ive always just bought wheels that already fit good :P

more offset = the more the wheel sticks out doesnt it ?

Negative offset is away from the car and positive is towards the car. Hence, negative rim generally stick out from yours gaurds, much like Spencers, therefore needing to flare.

tacked the other side flare on today.

couldnt help my self either, i had to sack it, just wanted to see what it would look like low so cut the the shitty kings down till i can afford some decent coils, only done the rears as i had it on the jack anyways, and don't worry it has short stroke shocks in it :y:
