7K turbo setup will rape a k40 or k50 gearbox with ease. The previous owner/seller is crazy to even think it would hold that type of torque and power. As for what gear box to run, you're on the ball. Run a W50 steel case gearbox, however you will need a K-W bellhousing for it to fit up to the 7K Cheers, Jake.

It sounds like my old 4AC, had the same issue, turns out the inlet had cracked somehow. Sounded like a rotary, would go like shit at low rpm, but wasn't noticeable in the higher rpms.

This is a sad day.

Only time I've heard induction from a down draught is when there's a draw through setup plumbed in there ;)

How exactly are you doing this setup? Are you running blower with twin side carbs? Suck through or blow through? Also 2" might be a tad big for those rad support holes, measure them up :P

Being organized as we speak, was hunting down a part for like 2 months. Just need to pick it up and post it to the maker. HSD Coilovers on XT130 struts with Hilux 4 pots and Peugeot disks.

Hey guys, I have found another car I want and am willing to part with my VQ to purchase said car. - The car is a 5.0L auto. - Comes with set of interceptors with near new tyres anda full set of 18" VY SS rims with new tyres. - 12months rego, just paid on 22nd of August. - Genuine VQ HSV cluster. - HSV boot spoiler. - Very clean interior, 1 or 2 TINY holes in the drivers seat only. - Original steering wheel - Very clean exterior, boot has begun to fade and has a long scratch on it, there is also a small scuff mark on the rear driver's side body kit behind the wheel. - Has a 2 1/2" cat back exhaust with Walker mufflers. - Engine is stock. - 80L drop tank - Auto was apparently rebuilt at some point prior to my purchase but cannot confirm; shifts very hard. - LSD may be on it's way out. - Still has original VQ key and keyless entry and boot popper. I ALSO HAVE A 99% COMPLETE MANUAL CONVERSION KIT TO SUIT, WILL THROW IN FOR $1500 IF INTERESTED, JUST NEED MANUAL ECU. That's all I can think of at the moment. Car is located in Werribee,3030.
