So after a long chat the other night I decided to actually put a bit more money/effort into setting it up correctly for track. I'm going to run a cut down KE70 K frame with shortened KE70 LCA's. Run some Xt130's with coilover setup. Going to run KE20 castors and ATTEMPT to fit a KE70 front swaybar with redrilled swaybar pin points. I will be upgrading the diff to a T series have it cut down and remounted to suit the KE10. I managed to score a KE20 castor and swaybar setup today as well as a T series diff (T292; 4.10 ratio). That's all for now.

Silicone has a natural acidic affect when applied to metal. If you want to increase the rate in which your car develops rust, use silicone. ;)

On my 4AC I literally managed to split clean in half, have no idea how it happened but it did. That is the same water pump as a 4AGE.

No, offset like the rims. Positive and negative; towards and away from the water pump. It will determine whether your pulleys line up or not. You shouldn't have to change it if you get a new pump.

Pretty sure that is correct, however it's the pulley's that have a different offset.

Water pump is a piece of piss, I had to pull mine and off about 5 times during my conversion.

Well the cam in that 5k is ranged 3000-8000RPM, I'm contemplating going bigger. That won't happen till I get some trials out of it first. Jono this car is in no way any good. Has some rust here and there, but not crazy. As far as I know it is white underneath, I personally rather it look as ratty as possible :)

I love Advans too, clearly :P I'll find time to test fit them this weekend. No tyres yet.

So it's been a while since I've updated this. I have spent way too much money on my Spirit and this project was getting neglected. However, now that the Spirit is pretty much gone I can focus some more attention on this :D Check out what arrived in the post today.
