Wish I could run a bigger throttle body on my 7k manifold. Too bad I'm too lazy to organize a throttle adapter plate or something :P
Twins would be nice.
Upgraded front swaybar to a Whiteline 24mm, also fitted my Ultra Racing Front Radius Brace. Now the only way to describe the affects... GRIP! EW! She still slides and allows for much more control whilst sliding however, it doesn't slide as well or for as long under the power of the 4AC. So I think the 4AGE will be going in shortly. Also some camber plans should take shape shortly.
Cheers, Jake.
Fitted a 19mm Rear Sway bar. Bought it from Ultra Racing from Malaysia. I love it, rear end is so tight now, however, fitting it was a bit fiddly and painful. Got it on there and it does it's job, I'm happy :) Highly recommend it.
I was contemplating selling her as I was offered a mad car, but unsure if I want to. :(
On the other hand the 4AGE conversion may be taking place in the very near future. Also planning on getting some frontend camber going :)
Cheers, Jake.
Lol!
Simplest and probably most common/easiest conversion is either a 4k-c or 5k-c. Everything bolts straight up. It will give you a little bit more power and torque, and will cost you around 200-500 for the motor alone depending on what you go for and a few hours fitting it all up and tuning it.
Go for it!!
If it's a manual and has a 4AC you can drop a 4AGE in no worries, but if you want it legal you will need an engineers cert. Requires upgrade in suspension, brakes, radiator and fit a surge tank. This is why AE71's are valuable, unlike the KE70.
Cheers, Jake.
I dunno, 1500, with a questionable diff... Is it manual or auto? Manual, DO IT! Auto, $1000.
Having said this, I haven't seen the car, etc, etc, etc.
Cheers, Jake.
