what is the process really don't want to sell it. so far got the engine. which gearbox should i use ? and will i need new cvs n hubs .

so now i find out cuz I'm putting a turbo on my 4age they can't find a clutch for it :/ wouldnt a heavy duty one be fine. they say their clutches will wear out in 3-4 months with a standard bolt on turbo. and apparently they don't have flywheels to marry up to a 4age cltuch :/ wtf lol haha

hay guys I'm having problems finding out the specifics to order my clutch. this is because Ive bought a 20v. with no gearbox which means no clutch no flywheel. to know what size i need. I'm putting the engine into my current 4afe 101. from what info Ive gotten I'm currently running a 215 mm clutch. I'm going to keep my current c50 gearbox till i get extra cash to waste on the gearbox. what Ive been told by auto barn their provider. said the silver top comes in 200 and 215 and i got no idea which one i need. maybe when they look it doesnt say silver top just says 20v. which means if I'm right 1 size is for the black top and the other is for the silver top could i be right ? please give me some help all i need is the clutch n flywheel and i can rip out the old and replace with the new. thanks guys much appreciated !

sorry trev I'm confused I'm asking if my 4afe gearbox will bolt up to my 20 v engine ?

hay guys ive just got a silvertop 20 v. for my 101 . will. the 4afe gearbox bolt onto my 4age with out a problem ? or will the fly wheel and clutch get in the way ? please let me know asap thanks

yeah but thats gonna cost me alot of monoey close to 4k. my ae101 will cost about 2k. so I'm thinking about just getting one in my ae. than save for the 71.

its manuel thinking about offering 1000 and pick up this week. but thing is putting in a efi. engine into a carby that doesnt bolt straight in. could cost me 4000 grand. 2 more than my 4a fe seca.

hay guys can get a ae71 for 1500. with origianl 4ac. only problem is the diff is making a noise. should i get this. ? how much would it cost for a engine conversion to a 4age ? or would i be better of just dropping a 4age into my seca since its jsut put in and bolt in.

well i haven't checked out how much a 4agze is yet. the 20v is costing me all up just without the gear box 1100. with 114000 kz. yeah mate positive 96 came out in the 4a Fe . csi. but the cs x came out in the 7afe. um well my current engine has 345000 its gonna cost me more to rebuild than to pull out and put the 4a GE in . like I'm not clueless. was just wondering if ill need a new gearbox I'm pretty sure i will. but just in case y purchase one if i can use my current one. and as for the mounts i just assumed since the 4th gen silver top came out in 101 wouldn't need new mounts and since its from the same family that 4a.
