  1. any progress is good progress... "found" this nicely sized alloy road sign just big enough to make two door cards out of ;) gunna brush them with the wire wheel
  2. smashed a brand new brumby twisted wire wheel on the 150 angle grinder today.. I think that's a fairly ʞ©$ɟing good achievement. all the tacky crows foot imbed arcrylic paint in the door frames was absolutely disgusting to get rid of. also did a bit of seam welding on the overlaps even tho I only have a mmaw I still had a crack👎
  3. well at least I'm not the only one! I de activated my facebook today, see how long this lasts haha. so you'll probably see me updating here a lot more often, as I'll probably be working on the ute more instead of sitting on Facebook talking shit lol mounted my cheapo go pro tonight and started stripping the interior down ready for paint
  4. so sick, did you do the fab work on the rear end?
  5. does anyone even get on these forums anymore or what lol seems to me every pricks migrated to Facebook.. even quiet on other forums like ae86dc and hardtuned
  6. progress.. won't be welding a cage in, just wanna drive an no money for pipe.. so bracing the car and gusseting along with welding harness points if needed. fuel tank sender done and cell vacuumed out. interior panels welded in, onto the rear doors next. re angled my exhaust to tuck up neater. stripping the interior down again once finished to paint with por15 me an Bella have been creating a rocket with 2kg rcandy motors
  7. bm44 15/16 master and original booster installed, was a pretty tight squeeze but fits like a glove and the brakes feel amazing now ????
  8. so got all my gauges wired up, fitted fuel sender to my cell, got a lot of body work done on her, heat wrapped the exhaust with titanium wrap. made a gear knob cause I'm broke. finally put 100 micron Holley filter before the pumps. got the foot brakes plumbed up and discovered the system is gunna need a bigger master cylinder, using bm44 with s13 boost 15/16 should be plenty big, if not I'll try 1" pbr master. other than that not too much happening, trying to move to the Gold Coast so saving all the money I can.. need to sort out paint, tonneau cover and windscreen/rear window as well as hydro master cylinder, which all require $$ happy snaps, and trying to light her up in dad's tiny ass shed with too much traction and shit brakes lol
  9. marked out the holes for my gauges tonight.. have oil press, water temp and volts.. need to save pennies for the other 5 gauges air fuel ratio, boost/vac, oil temp, fuel level, fuel press spent most my day cleaning this poor old girl up, need to get on an rebuild the motor soon
  10. I did see a few pair of 32 lights for sale, an a cheap pair of r34 lights too.. tempting

  12. I'm undecided on what lights I wanna use at the moment tossing up between 3 x 2" round led lights either side laid out vertically, or a 400mm long slim led strip either side laid out horizontally. also I'm not sure about the respray, I'm broke as hell so can't really afford paint at the moment plus there's a lot of body work left to do still and I don't own a speed file
  13. I quite love this thing, keen as hell to see it with some boost, my cousing had a gt30 and it was nuts, was a little laggy but he could stab the throttle rolling at 70kmh and it would light them up
  14. finally started on this, need to order 1 1/2" for the front legs
  15. yeah I sorta wish I had of left it as it was, but it shall look alright either way sittin sideways
  16. so slight change of direction with the rear end, no longer using dmax tail lights
  17. still poking along, clutch master relocated, made mounts for caster rod brackets, fuel lines finished, hydro handbrake made up, fuel pumps wired in etc
  18. fuel system going back in mounted seats, battery hooked up so keen for a drive
