hey i have just pulled my head off my 4k and it is stuffed all the water holes are coroded to the chambers and i have another head off another 4k which i just bought it has been shaved like 8mm to fix this so i need a new head anyone know where to find one?

just get the water galleries welded up then machined

Wreckers? Classifieds here? Surely there aren't that hard to find and far cheaper than getting it welded, heat treated and then ground.

i have a head here you can have for postage and 12 bucks (enough to get a beam tally :wink: )

 

it WILL need a clean up. But came off a runnig engine. you will have to pay postage of course.

hey do you have a pic of the head surface? you could send me a pic to 0458302327 have any idea how many k's its done?

i don't have a picture. Its dirty i'll tell you that. The "leverage spots" on the side are still there so i'm guessing it has never been, oh man, brain fart i can't remmeber the word haha! decked? thats not right. haha.

 

um, i'm guessing between 200 000 and 250 000

thanks mate not shaved is better cause its boosted main thing is corosion around water holes
