Ke10 Double Front Transverse Spring

Featured Replies

Hi all Stuart here Thomas dad , I was ratting parts of our donor car today and noticed it had a factory fitted double front transverse spring and was just wondering if this is standard on the ke10 as Thomas ke11 only had a single leaf or is it possible it may be a Bill Buckle special modification?????.

I have removed it from the car, i will get Thomas to put pictures up when he gets home.

Thanks Stuart.

my 1970 ke11 is a double.

could have removed one it in attempt to lower the car???

the Buckle cars had 1.5" lowering blocks in front and back from memory.

I don't quite understand how you can use a lowering block in the KE10 front end. The leaf is mounted inside the X-member.

I'm thinking the same.

Mine is a double, 1970 ke11.

The block goes on top of the leaf pack inside the crossmember which flattens the leaf, hence lowering the front end
