Hi guys i have a 3k and my mate has a 4k

( yay for us =.= lol )

 

Anyways his giving me his manual gearbox, pedal box and whatnot, everything i need to convert to manual. I was thinking, hey while its out i might aswell machine the flywheel and get a new clutch, they are cheap =) question is, does the 4ks gearbox bolt straight up to the 3k? And do i get a clutch to suit a 4k or a 3k =S

It should be just a bolt-on. Don't forget to buy a $7 spigot bearing for the back of the crankshaft.

 

Get the flywheel taken down to 6Kg, that's pretty easy, and a complete new clutch kit cost me $80 odd.

i could possibly use his 4k but that means id have to wait longer to rebuild his engine.. but i guess it would be better to use a 4k then a 3k lol!!
