Ke50 Posted December 19, 2005 Report Share Posted December 19, 2005 well the other day i just found out that the linkage between the throttle spring and the lever that pumps the fuel in is missing. so i figured at the moment it would be good for fuel economy but down on horses. at the moment it is just relying on vacum to suck the fuel through, which is why is i try and accelerate fast it tries to die on me and makes the big slurp sound. my question is, is there any disadvantages in the long run of leaving it as is for a while until i can find/make a replacement? please correct me on anything i havent got right. cheers tom Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ke50 Posted December 21, 2005 Author Report Share Posted December 21, 2005 nah, mine is mainly when coldish and when you try and accelerate quickly at low revs, it just makes that sucking noise you hear and sounds like its going to conk out.
