ATOYOTA Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 The title says it all, really. My boot took on a different meaning of the phrase 'spare tyre well' when it filled up with water, TWICE. So I tracked the leak down to the tail lights, which had this gummy, sticky body sealant that the last guy used to seal it off. I'm told this is the right stuff for this particular application, but am dubious as to if it'll hold up better than it did before. My question is this: Should I just get the same body sealant to reseal with or is there something else better suited for the job? This is pretty urgent as it takes my car off the road for the time being. I also won't be on the forums until Thursday at the earliest, so I'm afraid that's all the information I can give you for now. Thanks. Quote
