before u say use search, i have, and ive read thorugh the write up on it.

 

i got my nikki the other day for nothen, and i got hold of a second gasket today thanks to KE30king at the cruise.

 

i got it all conected up fine, but, i need help on tuning it better

 

how do i know if its running lean or rich?,

and also the thottle don't return properly, do i just add a stiffer spring to return it better?

any help on this will be great, cause i really need the car to be working properly.

it doesn't have one of those fast idle vacuum pot type things? some carbs use them to slowly reduce idle speed to improve emmisions.

 

download and read this (1.8meg) carb tuning guide.

i realised what it was with the throttle, it had no return spring lol...

will get one this week sometime, alone with some fuel hose as mine sprung a leak just before the carby!!, ohwell
